History.

When I left hometown Chicago 4 
years ago, honestly I had 
absolutely no clue nor direction.

It was surely an impulsive & irresponsible 
transition 2 say the least.

My thinking was that we can do 
whatever we wanted in this life of ours. 

It's our choice from start 2 finish. 

It's a pretty big world out there & 
felt the need 2 see it for myself. 

It's all about the experience man!

But as much as we may see that perfect picture, 

it never turns out that way & that's ok.

The greatest lesson learned thus far is being impeccable with your word cause you can NEVER take it back. 

Reputation is everything so protect it. 

We have the power 2 change our own personal condition. 
Easier said than done...
but very possible.

Fortunately these days there's the awesome luxury of washer & dryer.

It was just yesterday when we were attending the local laundrymat while carrying loads of clothing up & down stairs was the norm. 

Now, having such machinery has become a definite God send.

Not that I wouldn't mind doing it all over again or anything but man isn't great 2 stay home while 

keeping dirty underwear for you 

& your eyes only?

Just stumbled across one called 
Fat Sick & Ugly 
regarding the life changing benefits of Juicing. 

Yeah, yeah, we know....but a little extra health never huts anyone even if it is considered a fad.

Driving through sunny Atlanta with lady Tammy, we happened across the infamous BBQ joynt"I'm Dyin for Daddy D'z".

The sign itself did it for us & straight in we went. 
Guess we just had 2 see for ourselves....

Bonifide ribs & even better cheese sticks.

So who ever says signage dosen't work in regards 2 business,

There are a plenty of contrast that could be made between the north & south. 

From it's retail 2 the actual people.

This massive adjustment has certainly been an eye opener.

We've grown 2 realize that there's life beyond borders & it's

not where you're from but rather where you're @. 
(a famous quote from the days of old).

So as the "Georgia" sun continues 2 shine,  we'll continue 2 make the mark even if it's simply checkin' the mail while laying in the middle of the street.

Tammy & myself decided 2 take a trip 2 the local gym for a bit of cardio. 

As life continues 2 creep by, we find it best 2 keep up with it.....(Uggghhhh!!)

No one never said it'll take so much effort but then again maybe we weren't paying much attention. 

Keepin' healthy & feelin' good about self in your 40's requires some serious dedication...

(yes indeed)...

but man is it worth it....(Whew!)

The same attitude is applied 2 everyday living & all that we forever do. 

None is perfect but with effort & dedication all is possible more now than ever before.

Either we "RISE" or we fall....

After taking the Red Line into the middle of downtown Chicago, we decided 2 play it by ear & use our impulsive instincts.

Where is there 2 go in such a massive city?

I know…how about The Bean!

So off we go 2 the oversized, over rated, silver, ridiculously priced ($500,000) “Bean” in the middle of Grant Park.

There are many things missed about my city but The “Bean” surely isn’t one of them

....lol 

No matter the case, we always made a way 2 keep it exciting.

Poor Charlie.

Was walking down Sheridan Ave. & noticed this Lost Dog reward sign posted on some random pole. 

It's always unfortunate 2 see pet owner grieving over their lost pets but thought it'll be a great capture. 

I hope they were eventually able 2 find this lowly pup....Awwwww..."Poor Charlie"...

Ok then...back 2 our original broadcast already in session.

We decided 2 take a quick trip back down memory lane @ a time 

when things were new. 

So many things have been revealed since the 
swift understanding  that there's much more 
than meets the eye.

Noticing that everyone has a story 2 share 
& none other is better than the next. 

The details & eventual outcome is what 
makes it all so dayum special. 

Similar 2 a set of fingerprints where 
no 2 is alike & that alone 
should be celebrated.

Hammered & Nailed.

When there’s me, there’s usually a camera in hand. 

That’s just the way it’s been for years & if you have yet 2 notice, everything is captured in one way or another.

Anywho….I recently came across an online photo contest for creative artistry, submitted the themed pic “Hammer & Nails”….& nearly won the dayum thing!

The interesting part about all this is, I’ve never even prepared & literally allowed the “force” 2 lead the way on this project.

Similar 2 that whole Luke Skywalker & Yoda thing. lmao!

Hmmm…lets see what happens next time.

Can't believe it's been nearly 4 years & countin' since starting this whole Weddington Adventures videography / photography venture.
There's been a plenty of memories both good & bad but yet still gracefully captured throughout my collection of videos / photos. 

Throughout this process, I've been able 2 contribute my abilities with those in need of creative services....Whether a graduation, prom, wedding, reception, small business, special events or anything that requires something a bit different... (Check out my "REEL" below.)

Lookin' back, there's difficulty comprehending how I even ended up @ this point. 

Not that I'm completely & successfully accomplished as an artist or anything but still, I truly am one. 

(An artist) & by every definition of the word.

It still brings about a chuckle from time 2 time on just how something so randomly simple could end up being so catchy & rememberable.
