Large bodies of water over 10 feet 

makes me nervous so keeping 

it on dry land is the very 

best option here...

besides, who else could shoot the video?

  (lol whatever).

Taking this trip was more so for 

Miss Tammy who needed some much 

needed time away from the noise. 

Funny 2 say, this particular spot is 

known for weekend parties, 

speed boats, beer & thangs so 

quiet was occasional. 

Regardless, it did the trick....

for now.

Whaddup! We're officially in the new year & continue 2 be amazed @ how time flies. 
(Wow! been bloggin' for nearly 8 years.) 

This is also my first hefy blog post of 2016 with a lil' extra.

I'm always trying 2 do something original with the brand & usually it takes off without a hitch.

Let me start by giving you the set up....

Wages for an aspiring artist can get tight @ times, well just until I get that million dollar contract. 

(It's gonna happen dammit!)...lol.

So until then, I work a real job. (dayum, I know!)

Anyways...while at the gig, I come 2 the acquaintance of this highly energetic guy named Victor originally from Boston who just happens 2 be pretty fierce with the oil paint. 

(Hmmm...I see an idea coming on)...

Despite the wicked cold weather, we decide 2 hook up for the PW2 experience. 

So with the trusty Canon we decide 2 play it by ear & do something unique with character development & spontaneity. 

(Ok, ok, the paint on the hands was Victor's idea;)

It always works out better when things are organic.

There's a greater appreciation for  fellow artist of all types & he's no exclusion. 

Which is why a reminder was necessarily in store during this whole process. 

Never judge a book by its cover. 

What you may think is furthest from the truth until you decide 2 open the door & look beyond yourself.

When all was said & done, we had enough material for a funky portfolio featuring Mr. Victor, his creative oil paintings & 2 videos
...that's right 2!

(Now that's a project!)

Off on another trip 2 for Boston, Mass for 

some sights, sounds & another tattoo..

Ok...let's start off with some eats @ a sit in.

After a hour scoutin' out the spot, finding a 

place 2 park seemed somewhat challenging.

Hmmm...i noticed more Dunkin Doughnuts 
spots out here than anything else.

We all can appreciate a cappuccino 
every now & then but dayum really? 

One thing I miss about Chicago is the 

amazing variation of dishes. 

Gyro w/ X-tra meat from the local corner spot..
downtown Giadano's deep dish..

or even the Yuen's Chinese Kitchen joint in Rogers Park.
Ughhhh!;/

Found this spot called Swampscott, Mass 

while gazing through the hills.

There's a plenty of amazing history here for sure...

the New World 

 Revolutionary War, 

Boston Tea party, etc.

It's History class on steroids man!

(...no matter how inaccurate it may be;/

Anyways, gotta come back with the trusty Canon 

for that infamous Freedom Trail which takes 

you through the entire experience. 

Hmm...that's an idea.

History.

When I left hometown Chicago 4 
years ago, honestly I had 
absolutely no clue nor direction.

It was surely an impulsive & irresponsible 
transition 2 say the least.

My thinking was that we can do 
whatever we wanted in this life of ours. 

It's our choice from start 2 finish. 

It's a pretty big world out there & 
felt the need 2 see it for myself. 

It's all about the experience man!

But as much as we may see that perfect picture, 

it never turns out that way & that's ok.

The greatest lesson learned thus far is being impeccable with your word cause you can NEVER take it back. 

Reputation is everything so protect it. 

We have the power 2 change our own personal condition. 
Easier said than done...
but very possible.
