People have shared horrid stories about the trails & tribulations of raising a 16 year old  
but thus far on this end, I'm set...

(So I like 2 think.)

I can remember when I was 16 when everything was confusing but still I believed I knew it all. 
Poor choices were made & petty matters were more difficult than they had 2 be...
so looking at it from that perspective, yeah, we're good.

I know young people need 2 have a personal choice for empowerment 
but remember I'll always be dad.Readily available 2 teach you about the things you're not so sure about even if I don't even know myself,  protect you from the ills of this increasingly nasty world & just be THERE.

It's getting stranger by the minute & a whole lot going on in theses times so 

it's best 2 be that way.

The single most significant decision I can make on a daily basis is the choice of Attitude.

It's more important than the past, 

education, 

financial status

success or failures

fame or pain, 

circumstances

and position.

Attitude keeps me moving with constant 

progress & fuels the fire.

When Attitude is on point, there's no barrier 2 high, 

valley 2 deep

or dream 2 extreme.

It's always a joy 2 have son Khalid around 
the way for some "quality" time.

Whether it's video games, pizza or just 
a simple stroll....

time is time & that's cool.

That's why @ times when things get tough, 

my lil' man has the ability 2 make it all "disappear."

Hmmm...I wonder if he even know that whenever he's near everyone else 

seems so far away.

That's great for the soul & good for the heart. 

It's always better that way....

Sharin' With Tractors.

Everyday that passes here in the south brings about a clearer understanding of how everything works. 

Driving for instance....

...gridlocked traffic, insane folk who appear 2 be in such a rush for absolutely nothing, a stop sign on every single block, cameras @ intersections lookin' for someone 2 fine....

...then here in the backroads of Georgia where you're forced 2 share the road with 10 mph tractors...seriously? 

A tractor?...lol

Not that I'm complaining or anything but dayum!...10 mph?....

kinda funny actually.

Rather that than a ticket...Yep!

Out with old, in with the new. 

A whole bunch has transpired over the past few years with plenty 2 be happily remembered. 

It's kinda tough getting over how fast time slips on by without any notice which has given me more of a reason 2 make the most of every single situation. 

Tomorrow is never promised 2 anyone & there's absolutely no room for thoughts of regret. 

Every moment becomes an invaluable learning experience specifically detailed 2 make you much more. 

With that in mind, looking forward 2 what's in store makes everything so much more exciting....

Since moving 2 the state of Georgia a few months ago, things have slowed down a great deal which has given me the much needed time 2 regroup & gather thoughts. 

Life is so very constant & can be a bit overwhelming leaving
 little time 2 embrace the awesomeness.

In this case, it's the wonderful experiences & memories with the nucleus of family.

It's like reading a book... 

If you're 2 busy tryin' 2 get through it, you tend 2 lose the enjoyment and most important principles. 

That's why it's so important 2 gather thoughts & recollect the beauty of it all.

It's as simple as a trip 2 the local mall for a shoppin' spree for son Khalid's 11th birthday.

Once again, with photography & some cool video, memories become so much more. 

Something that'll never go away.

So why go for just a lil' bit when you can actually have it "ALL"?
